Separate to my university coursework, I have begun making a line of zany crochet balaclavas and accessories. I have developed accompanying promotional materials, including a magazine and social media content. Alongside my physical output of knitwear, stickers and tote bags, this project has led me to create digital artwork, coordinate photoshoots and outsource illustrations. My aim is to create a platform for my own work, as well as promoting crochet as a fun, therapeutic practice with proven links to improving mental health.
